Score one for Government Transparency & Accountability

If you live in Illinois, or if you just want to take a look-see, the State of Illinois has set up a “Illinois Transparency & Accountability Portal”.  It looks like this provides financial accountability down to  salary to the individual level.  You can all see roll-ups of spending by agency and much more.

Very nice – and expected, since this it’s “your tax dollars at work”
