If you have a WOUXON radio you will definitely want to download and take a look at KG-UV Commander from Jim Mitchell KC8UNJ. This program is free to use and available at http://www.kc8unj.com/kguv.html
At the time of this writing, there are two big advantages of KG-UV Commander over the software provided (free) from WOUXUN
- The ability to import/export frequency lists in standard CSV (Comma Separated Values) format. There are two obvious implications of this. First, you can save/archive different frequency lists ready for upload “at the click of a button”. Second, CSV is a standard format that can be manipulated by standard spreadsheet programs – such as EXCEL and Open Office (free).
- The ability to set the band limits for the radio
Using KG-UV Commander is a snap
